Philanthropy
Alpha Pi Delta, Sincerely is the giving arm of Alpha Pi Delta Sorority, Inc. with a mission to advance the Sorority’s vision to be recognized as a premier LGBT organization. The support of members, volunteers and friends of Alpha Pi Delta is needed to make this vision a reality.

Formed in 2013, the Alpha Pi Delta, Sincerely is a non-profit, tax exempt, 501(c)3 organization, and donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. This means that your gifts not only enrich Alpha Pi Delta, Sincerely and its members, but could give you a tax break as well.

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Executive Board comprised of four Alpha Pi Delta members appointed by the General Body of Alpha Pi Delta Sorority, Inc. These women serve as stewards of your generosity and uphold the fiduciary, legal and operational core of the Foundation. The trustees are supported in their work by the Grand Chapter Staff.

According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, in January 2018 - 552,830 people experienced homelessness on a single night. Meaning, they slept outside, in an emergency shelter, or in a transitional housing program. The state of America's homelessness is marginally better than those in developing countries. However, the state of homelessness is something that APD is proud to dedicate resources, time, and commitment to helping alleviate and end poverty in America for the LGBT community as well as their families.
In efforts to improve three critical issues impacting young women in our community: Self-respect, Self-esteem and Self-love. We have tailored a program called C.A.L.L.A Ladies - Cultured, Astute, Loving, Leading, and Academic Ladies which will provide the necessary lessons on etiquette, self-esteem and life skills. This program serves as the foundation for young women to develop the essential skills to achieve success in daily relationships, school and work.
